Welcome to Club 75! The oldest Toastmaster club east of the Rockies. We are a diverse group of professionals, interested in helping each other improve our speaking and leadership skills. 

 

 

Our Mission

The mission of Club 75 is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth

Toastmasters International is the leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality.

Through its member clubs, Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking-vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind. 

It is basic to this mission that Toastmasters International continually expand its worldwide network of clubs, thereby offering ever-greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from its programs.

Club Profile

MINNEAPOLIS TOASTMASTERS CLUB 75

 

bulletHas always held meetings downtown – First at the YMCA, then the Minneapolis Athletic Club, Daytons 12th – Floor Oak Grill ( later Marshall Field’s), then Zinc’s Restaurant and now back to Marshall Field’s and now temporarily at Davani's on Hennepin and 10th

 

bulletMeets Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15pm, concurrent with the school year, and allowing one to travel during the rest of the week.

 

bulletHolds meetings over dinner in a nice relaxed atmosphere – Dinner and cocktails are ordered off the menu, if so desired.

 

bulletIs a varied group, not confined to a particular company or profession, and people of all ages are encouraged to join.

 

bulletHas had three members who went on to become President of Toastmasters International

 

bulletHas had many members who have competed in speech contests several levels above the local area contest level.

 

bulletIs the oldest Club east of the Rockies, and is a fun Club!
